Charity Village

NOTE: I want to make you aware of a resource for job postings in not for profit organizations called Charity Village. There are a lot of jobs open right now, as fall is a peak season for hiring, so take the time to review this site regularly.

Aside from Wesley Urban Ministries (apply through me for that one), you may apply directly to the employer using the method requested in the posting. Please remember to use the most recent and updated version of your resume that we have created together, customized for the job posting; let me know if I can assist with the resume or answer any questions.

Go to www.charityvillage.ca - click on search jobs - select the city in 'location'. You can also specify by job category, but I would recommend leaving all categories at 'all' except the location field.

Note: Halton/Peel covers Burlington, Oakville, Mississauga, Brampton and Milton. This is a very large geographic area and ranges from 20-60+ minutes for commuting time, so check the postings carefully for the actual city location. Central and Southern is also a very large area and includes Kitchener/Waterloo/Cambridge. See this map for more details on regions and let me know if you have any questions: http://charityvillage.ca/client/frm_volunteer/job_mapON.asp
