- You will need to register first.
- You will then log in using your email address and follow the Self-Assessment instructions.
This Self-Assessment can be used to help evaluate your strengths and challenges related to employability for a skilled position. It is intended for use by International Medical Doctors that are enrolled in the Career Transitions Program. However, anyone is welcome to take the self-assessment. Use this self-assessment to help you determine how ready you are to undertake an intensive job search for a skilled position.
What does being "employment ready" mean?
If you are "employment ready", you have the knowledge, skills, attitudes and resources to independently commence the job search process and optimize your chances of finding a suitable job.
This is strictly a self-assessment tool. This assessment will ask questions regarding: your skills background, commitment to learning, motivation, expectations, and level of understanding of job search techniques. The process is not intended to provide definitive answers; the process is meant to stimulate thought; there are no right or wrong answers; finally, there is value in the actual process of answering the questions and understanding the feedback responses.
Success in finding and keeping work depends on many different things, and sometimes our background or situation keeps us from finding work easily.
